What's Swampball? Swampball is one of UNO's largest events, a volleyball tournament played in two big pits of muddy water.

Is this a Privateer Plunge event? Yes, it's your last chance to earn P. Plunge credits!
​
How much does it cost? $10 per person early bird fee until September 20th. This includes lunch, entertainment, and a minimum of 2 games in the water. After September 20th, the registration fee increases to $11 per person.
​
Where does the money go? Profits go to the Ambassadors Scholarship Fund, which disperses awards every spring to deserving UNO students. Stay tuned to learn if you're eligible and how to apply.

What does the winning team get? A trophy and bragging rights.
​
When and where is Swampball held? Every fall in the UNO Quad.
Who can play? Swampball is geared towards students but participants from various universities, high schools, and the surrounding community are welcome.
How many players are in a team? 6-8.

What if I don't have a team? We have a registration link for individuals without a complete team of at least six. Whether you’re a team of 5 looking for one more person, or just yourself, use the individual registration link above to sign yourself up!

How do I get a cool t-shirt that I'll have forever and ever to remember my college years by? They're available for purchase at Swampball under our Headquarters Tent for only $5.

Why do we have to duct tape our shoes to get in the water? So your shoes don't fall off, silly. Duct tape will also be available for purchase at Headquarters.
